Carpathian Tram
This full-day Carpathian Tram trip from Lviv combines a ride on a historic narrow-gauge railway with Carpathian scenery and the history of the region. The Vyhoda railway, with a track gauge of 750 mm, was built in the late 19th century to transport timber and today carries visitors along the scenic tourist route known as the Carpathian Tram.
In Vyhoda, we will visit the Vyhoda Narrow-Gauge Railway Heritage Centre, an interactive museum dedicated to the history of the railway, Carpathian nature and local traditions.
The route then continues to the Dovbush Rocks in Bubnyshche, where sandstone formations create a natural labyrinth in a beech forest. The trip ends at the Hoshiv Monastery of the Transfiguration on Yasna Hora.
We recommend bringing: comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a snack and water.
