Pochaiv Lavra & St Anna’s Spring – Day Trip from Lviv

This full-day trip from Lviv to Pochaiv Lavra and St Anna’s Spring introduces visitors to two important Orthodox pilgrimage sites in Volyn.

The main destination is the Holy Dormition Pochaiv Lavra, an impressive monastery complex overlooking Pochaiv. During the visit, we discover its history, architecture and sacred traditions connected with the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God, the Footprint of the Mother of God and Saints Job and Amphilochius of Pochaiv.

We then continue to the Skete of St Anna in Onyshkivtsi, known for its spring and bathing pool. Visitors may collect spring water and, when current access rules permit, immerse themselves in the pool.

We recommend bringing: clothing appropriate for monastery visits, comfortable footwear and, for the bathing pool, a towel, change of footwear and suitable clothing.
