New Year in Uzhhorod – Castles, Carpathians & Thermal Waters

A New Year trip to Zakarpattia combines several days in the winter Carpathians with historic towns, castles and thermal waters, with the option of celebrating New Year in Uzhhorod.

Day 1: depart from Lviv and cross the Carpathians. Depending on weather conditions, the programme may include Pylypets, Shypit Waterfall, winter mountain scenery and a tasting of local Zakarpattia wines. Overnight in Uzhhorod.

Day 2: enjoy thermal relaxation and discover more of Zakarpattia. Possible stops include Kosino and Mukachevo with Palanok Castle, or other seasonal attractions. Return to Uzhhorod for the New Year celebration.

Day 3: explore Uzhhorod, its historic centre and castle, followed by a thermal complex or another relaxation stop before returning to Lviv.
