Lake Synevyr & Shypit Waterfall – Day Trip from Lviv
This full-day trip from Lviv to Lake Synevyr and Shypit Waterfall explores some of the best-known natural attractions of the Zakarpattia Carpathians.
In Pylypets, we walk to the cascading Shypit Waterfall, surrounded by the forested slopes of the Borzhava mountain range. The journey then crosses the Synevyr Pass, where clear weather offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Inside Synevyr National Nature Park, we visit the Brown Bear Rehabilitation Centre, created for animals rescued from inappropriate conditions. The main natural destination of the day is Lake Synevyr, the largest natural mountain lake in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
No special trekking experience is required, although the itinerary includes walking. We recommend comfortable footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, rain protection and drinking water.
