10 Highlights of Zakarpattia – 3-Day Tour from Lviv

“10 Highlights of Zakarpattia” is a three-day trip from Lviv combining castles and palaces, historic towns, thermal waters, Carpathian scenery, regional food and local wine.

Day 1: cross the Carpathians and discover Schönborn Palace and Mukachevo with its impressive Palanok Castle. Continue to the Berehove area for thermal bathing or time in the town, local gastronomic experiences and an overnight stay.

Day 2: explore Uzhhorod and its historic centre, including Uzhhorod Castle. The day can continue with traditional hot vats in Lumshory or another relaxation experience, followed by a tasting of Zakarpattia wines.

Day 3: discover the mountain landscapes of Zakarpattia with the Synevyr Pass, Synevyr National Nature Park, Lake Synevyr and the Brown Bear Rehabilitation Centre before returning to Lviv.
