Medieval Lviv Walking Tour

Medieval Lviv is a walking tour through the historic centre, exploring the city of defensive walls, craft guilds, trade and diverse communities.

We walk across Rynok Square and through the old streets, discovering historic townhouses, churches, defensive structures and places connected with the Armenian, Ruthenian, Polish and Jewish communities of Lviv.

Along the way, we talk about the laws, crafts, trade, fires, defence and everyday life of the medieval city. When access allows, the route can include selected churches and historic courtyards.

Format: classic thematic walking tour, suitable both for first-time visitors and for travellers who want a deeper introduction to the history of Lviv’s Old Town.
